Being thankful, is something most wait until Thanksgiving Day or Christmas to say thank you to the ones they love or person who has helped out. It is by all means; of course important to say thank you on these days, but it should not be the only time that you share thanks.
There are so many reasons why you should thank every one in your life throughout the year and not just while holidays. Reasons such as:

- Showing your appreciation can have a bigger impact when you show it unexpectedly. while the holidays, every one expects to be thanked, but when you catch person by surprise it can last a life time.
- You can show thanks right after something person has done for you. It helps encourage others to also show their thanks towards others.
- Sending notes or comments right away will preclude you from trying to catch up with thank you letters or cards.
- When you show your thanks unexpectedly you have more time to personalize your thoughts as you will be thanking that particular person at that moment.

Who should you think of saying thank you to on a daily or at least a weekly basis? Here are some suggestions:
- Of procedure first on your list is your family, friends and neighbors, especially thank a friend for just being a friend.
- Your mail person. They are there six days a week, delivering your mail in the harshest of weather, so thank them when you get a chance.
- Send thank you notes to teachers and school staff to show your appreciation in helping your child.
- Your owner and co-workers and of procedure any clients you may have, this builds exquisite rapport in the office and with your clients.
- Emt's and firefighters are well deserved for receiving thanks, as they are there for all when an urgency arises.
- If you have a physician like mine, they deserve a huge thank you for finding after your family. My particular physician is the best, he even called personally yesterday to reschedule my son's appointment due to the weather, he is a excellent physician.
Here are some ways to show your thanks:
- A handwritten, not typed note or letter to express your thanks and thoughts about the person.
- Visit them and tell them in person how thankful you are for them being in your life.
- A gift or send flowers to their home or office, I have done this for my mother, out of the blue, and it touched her deeply and it made me very happy to hear how happy it made her.
- Offer your help to person who will benefit from it, whether it's helping them clean, shop, take care of their kids, etc, it will be greatly appreciated.
When you offer thanks to others, it also benefits you. It will bring you happiness and give you a sense of well-being. So have you said "Thank you" today? If not, get out there and share your thanks.
